My name is Anthony Petaccio. I have been interested in photography since I was a young teenager and worked on my school yearbook photographing and developing pictures.
My professional career began in 1991 photographing high school & college graduating senior portraits & events. Later on I began photographing Weddings, Dance Schools, and Children's Portraits. I consider myself to be very fortunate to be able to do, as a profession, something that I truly enjoy, photographing people.
A little over 10 years ago I started The Shepherd Studio and have found it to be tremendously rewarding. Located in Carbon County Pennsylvania in the Pocono Mountain area, I am able to cover most areas of PA, NJ & upstate NY areas.
I realize that photographing a wedding is a precious once in a lifetime moment that you have probably been dreaming about for many years. I will work closely with you to help capture the best memories of your special day.
I will photograph both spontaneous and posed pictures of the event in a non-intrusive way so as not to interfere with your enjoying your day. I believe that a wedding that only focuses on pictures takes away from the actual experience of
a wedding. Thus, I do my best to keep the posed, time-consuming pictures to a minimum so you can go out and enjoy your guest & each other.
